In 2008 the VHA commissioned Access Economics to undertake a major study and research report into the funding and productivity mechanisms underpinning Victoria's public healthcare system. This work builds on the scoping study 'EBA outcomes and public hospital funding - is the system working effectively in Victoria?' delivered to VHA in June 2008.
Representatives from the six case study institutions (Bendigo Health, Swan Hill District Health, Kerang District Health, Northern Health, Latrobe Regional Hospital and Bass Coast Regional Health) provided their time for discussions and reviewed elements of the draft report.
