The health sector is no exception with acronyms used as short cuts to refer to both simple and complex health-related terms. To assist member agencies and staff negotiate the jargon in the health system, the VHA has collated a list of Health Industry Acronyms. The list includes over 300 terms and their associated acronyms as well as a number of website addresses for your further information.
