The Victorian Healthcare Association is the industry association for public and not-for-profit healthcare providers in Victoria. Our members include public and not-for-profit hospitals, rural and regional health services, community health services, aged care facilities and Medicare Locals.
The newly established Senior Policy Advisor position provides an exciting opportunity to influence health policy and work with some of the most senior members of the public health sector in Victoria. The role will report to the Director, Policy and Strategy and forms part of a three member policy team. The successful candidate will deputise for the Director when necessary and co-ordinate major policy development projects.
The ideal candidate will have: well developed conceptual, analytical, research and evaluation skills; proven experience developing complex policy and providing authoritative advice; and the ability to forge and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
A salary commensurate with skills and experience will be negotiated with the successful candidate, but would be expected to be from $81,750 inclusive of 9% super.
