The Department of Health and Ageing has commissioned professional services firm KPMG to provide free advisory services to eligible residential aged care providers about managing the change to the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).
KPMG will provide advice on areas such as financial modelling, strategic planning and budget forecasting, business analysis and optimal ACFI mix for profitability. Services will be provided at no cost to aged care providers and are confidential.
Priority will be given to providers with a small number of services, a high percentage of low care residents and those in regional and remote locations.
