The Victorian Healthcare Association's Clinical Governance project in partnership with Latrobe University has developed a tertiary unit to ensure the project's lessons are sustained in the community health sector and to promote clinical governance in community based services.
The School of Public Health, Faculty of Health Sciences at LaTrobe University will again be offering this unit, PHE3/4CQM Applied Quality & Safety in Health and Community Services in 2011.
The subject is available either as a unit as part of a postgraduate course undertaken in the School of Public Health or as a single unit. The unit is suitable for service providers and managers of health and community services. The unit, while offered at postgraduate level, has been designed to include entry to those who may not have a recognised undergraduate degree.
The unit will be offered in block mode in the summer semester on Friday 4 February - Saturday 5 February 2011 and Friday 25 February - Saturday 26 February 2011.
