Overview
On behalf of its members, the VHA advocates for evidence-based policy changes to systemically improve the public healthcare system and better equip it to cope with rising rates of chronic disease and the dual burdens of an ageing population and workforce.
This work involves detailed communications with both Victorian and Commonwealth health departments and a vigorous and ongoing dialogue with a membership that often holds divergent views on health policy.
