Position Statement 
The VHA believes the 'health promoting health service' philosophy has a lot to offer the health system and should be endorsed at a policy and practical level throughout Victoria in accord with growing sector interest and global evidence. The VHA proposes a health promoting health services action plan which provides the resources, guidance and scope for health services to create healthier environments, procedures and structures for clients, families, workers and the broader community.
Integrated Community Health - MBS
Position Statement
The Integrated Community Health - MBS Position Statement articulates the issues associated with integrated community health services accessing the MBS with variable service modalities and service outcomes. In this position statement, the VHA considers the different models are currently being trialed and that a range of lessons will be learnt from these trials in the next 12 months.
Whole of Health
Position Statement
The VHA has refreshed it's 2007 Position Statement - Whole of Health - to reflect the contemporary health policy environment and act as umbrella document or a policy blueprint that summaries the VHA's research on health system reform. Its recommendations outline the main steps in the health reform process that governments must expedite to ensure the sustainability of Victoria's public healthcare system.
