Trevor Carr is the Chief Executive of the Victorian Healthcare Association. He has hands on experience within a rural healthcare context through a previous role as Chief Executive of a rural healthcare agency delivering a broad mix of acute, primary and residential care services. Trevor has enjoyed working withing the Victorian health care industry and with boards of governance for over 30 years.
Trevor's undergraduate studies in health administration were completed through the University of New South Wales, and his Executive MBA was completed through the Australian Graduate School of Management. He is a graduate of AICD and has been a director of Health Super PL for three years. |

Kylee Shiel Population Health Project Coordinator kylee.shiel@vha.org.au
As a Registered Psychologist Kylee has a background in community heath organisations including aged care assessment, carer support, counselling, staff supervision and human resource management. Project experience and recent studies in Health Promotion have fuelled her interest in population health.
Kylee's major area of focus is the Population Health & Area Based Planning portfolio. The current associated projects include coordination of the Population Health & Area Based Planning (PHAP) Working Group, Population Health website development, and collaboration with Monash University in developing a statewide health sector research proposal with VicHealth Discovery Grant funding. Other smaller projects include the National Health Priorities Areas and coordination of the August Aged Care Forum. |

Eloisa has a background in clinical healthcare as an Orthoptist. Eloisa completed her Masters in Health and Human Services Management in 2011.
Eloisa is the senior policy officer and is involved in the funding, aged care, oral health and acute services porfolios. |

Jane joined the VHA in 2009 after almost 20 years of working in clinical healthcare. Jane qualified with a Bachelor of Applied Science (physiotherapy) in 1990 and worked as a physiotherapist in a variety of settings in many different countries. Jane completd a Masters of Health Administration in 2008.
Jane is the manager for the Research and Policy Team and is involved in all areas of memeber engagement, policy analysis, submissions, position statements, events and publications. |

Alison Brown Clinical Governance Consultant, Australian Centre for Healthcare Governance
Alison is a consultant with the Australian Centre for Healthcare Governance. Alison has over 15 years experience in healthcare in Victoria. She specialises in providing both clinical and general governance services to the healthcare sector which enable organisations to strengthen their governance systems and processes.
Alison has a background as a clinician quality coordinator and project worker. She has a Master of Public Health, is a Primary Health care research evaluation and development fellow of the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
Alison is also the Manager for the Population Health Project which aims to promote a population approach to planning within Victoria. |

Clare O'Reilly Clinical Indicators Project Officer clare.oreilly@vha.org.au
Clare is the Project Officer for the Clinical Indicators Project.
Clare has worked in project management and evaluation positions in the health sector supporting community health in clinical supervision, coordinating professional development to rural allied health practitioners and supporting general practice. Clare has also worked as a generalist counsellor and currently runs a business in education and self development in between her work at the VHA.

Sara publicises the VHA's research and advocacy messages, via the media, to politicians, stakeholders and the general public. Sara writes and distributes media releases, maintains relationships with key journalists and communicates responses from the Chief Executive to emerging and ongoing health issues in the media.
As the editor of Health Matters, Sara conducts interviews, writes and commissions articles and manages production of the magazine.
Sara has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from RMIT and has worked for many years as a journalist and sub-editor. She was a freelance copy editor for the VHA before joining the team part time in 2010. |

Alice Macklin Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive alice.macklin@vha.org.au
Alice joined the VHA in 2008 and has primary responsibility for the provision of support services to the Chief Executive and secretariat services to the VHA Board of Directors and its sub-committees. She is also closely involved in a range of other functions, icluding data management, membership and communications.
Alice has a background in administration management and project work across a range of industry sectors. Alice works on a part-time basis on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. |

Chris Templin completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2008 and has an interest in health promotion and population health. His main area of focus at VHA is the community health sector. Chris also works on the Population Health Approaches to Planning project.
