Role description
I monitor and analyse changes in government policy and legislation, working closely with VHA members to identify the impacts and opportunities for Victoria’s public healthcare system. I leverage evidence and insights from members to inform advice to government and support the delivery of reforms.
What is your career background and what brought you to the VHA?
I bring over 10 years’ experience across policy, advocacy, government relations and communications, including roles advising local government representatives and a Victorian Member of Parliament. My background spans health and social policy, including community health, mental health and housing. I was drawn to VHA by the opportunity to work closely with the health sector as it navigates a period of significant reform. I hold a Bachelor of Communications and an Honours degree in Justice and Criminology.
What is your favourite place you’ve travelled?
I love travelling around the American South-West, exploring the canyons, deserts and rivers.
