Role description
As the Content and Communications Coordinator, I take the lead on major projects like the State of the Health Sector Report and the VHA’s digital magazine Healthcare InFocus which provides valuable policy insights and sector news to VHA members and the sector.
What is your career background and what brought you to the VHA?
I studied Media and Communications at UNE then began my career in publishing where I was responsible for syndication and passionate about providing focused content. I have since worked in communication roles across various industries including corporate data, FMSG and prior to beginning at the VHA in manufacturing as a Global Brand Manager for seven years.
After taking maternity leave I decided to work for an organisation making positive change. The VHA’s commitment to improving the public healthcare system is what drew me to the role.
What is your favourite place you’ve travelled?
My favourite place to visit was South America where I spent 6 months travelling up the western coast from Argentina, Chile, Peru and Bolivia. The culture is vibrant and the people are very friendly.
