As an extension of our well-attended Rural and Regional Roundtable (RRR) series, we are hitting the road to meet as many members as we can on the Rural and Regional Roadtrip.

To foster better engagement with and understanding of our members, VHA CEO Leigh Clarke and the VHA team will visit rural and regional members over the next six months, starting in south-west Victoria today.

We want to build on the success of the RRR series and continue important conversations, like those captured in our recent RRR report. Conversational meetings will focus on local policy challenges and solutions.

Scheduled Rural Regional Roadtrip visits include:

• June – Barwon South West

• July – Loddon Mallee

• September – Hume

• October – Gippsland

We recognise we won’t make it to see everyone during this tour. We are trying to maximise each trip by identifying a ‘central’ location within each region so that representatives from surrounding services can join us. Plans are already underway for two further visits.
