With an initial focus on supporting the implementation of the Health LEADS Victoria Leadership Capability Framework, the VHLNet provides a practical platform for collaboration, shared learning and applied implementation.
VHLNet is designed to move beyond theory, focusing on testing tools, sharing real-world experience, and building practical resources that support meaningful adoption across health services.
The role of the VHLNet
VHLNet supports sector-wide leadership development by:
- Facilitating greater organisational commitment to leadership development through the adoption and implementation of Health LEADS Victoria
- Creating a Community of Practice focused on enhancing health leadership through the practical implementation of Health LEADS Victoria
- Modelling and promoting a culture of learning and knowledge exchange on leadership initiatives
- Sharing case studies, insights and lessons from real-world application
- Supporting the development of tools, templates and resources for a shared digital resource hub
