Join the Victorian Health Leadership Network Steering Committee 

VHA is establishing a Steering Committee to guide and champion the Victorian Health Leadership Network (VHLNet). Launching mid 2026, VHLNet will bring together health service leaders, implementation champions and subject matter experts to strengthen leadership capability across the Victorian public healthcare sector. Learn more about VHLNet here. 

The Steering Committee will guide and champion VHLNet by:  

  • Implementing Health LEADS Victoria within their organisations  
  • Testing tools and contributing practical insights  
  • Supporting the ongoing program of Community of Practice sessions  
  • Developing shared resources  
  • Accelerating sector-wide adoption of the framework
Being part of the Steering Committee provides:  
  • LEADS Facilitator Certification Training*   
  • Early access to the Health LEADS Victoria Leadership Capability Framework
  • Strategic decision making and shaping of the VHLNet and Health LEADS Victoria tools and resources 
  • Build networks with senior leaders, CEOs and experts across the sector 
We are seeking Expressions of Interest from: 
  • Implementation champions*: Senior OD, P&C, or L&D leaders  
  • Academic, research or subject matter experts  
  • System champions: CEOs committed to driving sector-wide adoption

*Selected implementation champions will be required to undertake a 3-day LEADS Facilitator Certification Training delivered by LEADS Global (27 – 29 April 2026, Melbourne CBD) to support and strengthen implementation capability. The discounted training fee is $500 and to be paid by the champion’s health organisation.

Victorian Health Leadership Network (VHLNet) 

With an initial focus on supporting the implementation of the Health LEADS Victoria Leadership Capability Framework, the VHLNet provides a practical platform for collaboration, shared learning and applied implementation. 

VHLNet is designed to move beyond theory, focusing on testing tools, sharing real-world experience, and building practical resources that support meaningful adoption across health services. 

The role of the VHLNet 

VHLNet supports sector-wide leadership development by: 

  • Facilitating greater organisational commitment to leadership development through the adoption and implementation of Health LEADS Victoria  
  • Creating a Community of Practice focused on enhancing health leadership through the practical implementation of Health LEADS Victoria  
  • Modelling and promoting a culture of learning and knowledge exchange on leadership initiatives  
  • Sharing case studies, insights and lessons from real-world application 
  • Supporting the development of tools, templates and resources for a shared digital resource hub 

The network exists to accelerate learning and build collective impact through connection and shared experience.
